Criteria:

• Applicant must be a son, daughter or legal ward of a North Central Electric
  Cooperative member living on the lines and receiving service at the time of
  the competition
• Applicant must describe the adversity, obstacle, or personal challenge that
  he/she experienced that made achieving academic success difficult.
• Applicant should be a minimum of the 60th percentile rank of his/her high
  school class with a minimum overall grade point of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale).
• Applicant must have all basic credits for college or proper vocational or
  technical school entrance. They must be accepted in the accredited college or
  proper vocational or technical school before the award will be given.

A panel of judges will interview the finalists to determine the scholarship winner. The finalists will be interviewed by the panel of judges on Tuesday,
