- Be a U.S. citizen
- High school senior during the 2014-2015 school year
- Be a resident of a township in Ohio
- Minimum “B” average (cumulative)
- Have at least a 22 ACT or 1000 SAT score
- Plan to attend an accredited 2-yr or 4-yr Ohio college or university in the fall; the college or university must be a public or private institution from which you can earn an associate of bachelor's degree
- Students may also apply for the Local Government Achievement scholarship, but may only receive one scholarship given by the Ohio Township Association; If applying for both scholarships, materials must be submitted in separate envelopes.

Details:Application includes 2 letters of recommendations, copy of high school transcript, and a 500 word essay. Mail completed application by January 30, 2015 to the following address:
