Criteria:

  • Ohio high school seniors graduating in June 2015 and planning to attend selected schools for careers such as accounting, business, computer, criminal justice, dental assisting, electronics, medical assisting, nursing, paralegal, technology, veterinary technology, visual communications, etc .
  • Minimum “C” average
  • Must be nominated by a current member of the Ohio Legislature
  • Must be able to meet the college or school entrance requirements
  • Eligible to apply for up to three scholarships
  • Must start classes either the summer or fall term following high school graduation

Number Awarded: 220 Minimum
Renewable: No; Scholarship amount is allocated over the length of the program
