Criteria:
- Applicant must be a resident of the Colonel Crawford School District
- Applicant must be either a graduating senior with minimum attendance of Junior and Senior years at Colonel Crawford High School, or a graduate of Colonel Crawford High School with minimum attendance of Junior and Senior years who is currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution pursing a bachelor’s degree.
- Applicant must have applied and been accepted to, or be enrolled in a four year accredited institution of higher education (college or university), pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Applicants applying to or enrolled in an on-line college or university degree program will not be considered.
- Applicant may pursue a degree of study of his/her choice at the bachelor level.
- A current cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher is required of the applicant.
- Two (2) Letters of Recommendation are required, one letter from each of the following categories: 1) a current teacher/professor, or guidance counselor; 2) a coach, pastor, mentor, employer, co-curricular leader/advisor, or community service leader.
- Must submit approximately 300 word essay, typed, double-spaced explaining why the student is seeking this scholarship, how a bachelor’s degree will improve or change his/her life, and why the student chose to attend the specific campus where he/she intends to enroll or is currently enrolled.
- Preference will be given to first-generation students.
